Sunday lunch at our North Norfolk Hotel The Lodge in Hunstanton is fast becoming a very busy day for our team. preparing a Sunday Roast for a North Norfolk restaurant means you have a great choice of local food providers to choose from.
The majority of our delicious meat joints come from local North Norfolk Butcher Arthur Howell who have been trading as family butchers for over 100 years! so they have excellent knowledge of the available produce in our corner of North Norfolk.
They have expanded in North Norfolk over the years to include shops in Wells-next-the-Sea, Burnham Market and the village of Binham.
The meat that supplies our North Norfolk hotels is predominantly sourced from local farms the wonderful Holkahm estate who provide Angus and Hereford beef.
The pork is supplied to them by G.D. Allen of South Creke. The lamb comes from a variety of local producers Briston, Cockthorpe, Wells-Next-The-Sea and Houghton St Giles.
So when it comes to preparing your Sunday roast you can be sure that the food on your plate has been reared and grown by mostly local producers who have a real steak ( pardon the pun) in ensuring that they provide high quality produce.
